A Day of Soap Making
When it comes to making soap we are always looking for something special to make for our next loaf at the shop. Soap making is a several hour procedure and we take pride in the product that we produce. Our most recent 11.5 pound loaf of soap was pink grapefruit and the whole shop smelled fresh and bright with citrus. We measure all the oils and fats precisely to our secret recipe and wait for them to melt before combining it with cooled lye water.
Once all ingredients are combined our soap cooks for a specified period of time to create the perfect consistency and hardness. We then add the finishing touches to our soap before pouring it into the mold. It gets left to set overnight before we cut them, wrap them, label them and stock our shelves for you!
